R.C.I.A. News: At today's (March 15th) 9:00 AM Liturgy we celebrate the first scrutiny with our Elect and Candidates.  With them, we examine the areas in our own lives that are sinful and in need of the refreshing living water that Jesus promised.  With them, we ask, "For what do I thirst?"  Next Sunday we will listen to the story of Jesus healing the man born blind.  As we prepare for next Sunday's Scrutiny let us look at the areas of darkness in our lives.  Let us also reflect on the areas of darkness in the world.  Where do we need to feel Jesus' healing touch?  Where do we need the light of Christ to shine in our wounded lives and in our wounded world?

Retreat Opportunity:  As in former years, on April 5 (Palm Sunday) the RCIA group will be attending a retreat here at church to prepare for Holy Week.  Once again, the retreat is open to parishioners who wish to attend.  It will be held from 2:00 PM-7:00 PM and will conclude with a Sedar Meal.  A free will offering will be taken to help defray the expenses.  Please call the rectory by Tuesday, March 31, to make reservations or call Barb Bettwy at 725-4267 for more information.
